Gary Howells Bamboo Fly Rod 8'6" 2/2 #6A nice Gary Howells bamboo fly rod, 8'6", 2 piece, 2 tip, and built for a #6 line. Serial #4243. 4 1 4 ounces according to the label, but my scale has it a tiny bit over that at 4. 7 ounces. Very minimal use with only a hint of grip soiling. Wheatstraw oven tempered cane done in a three up node pattern. Excellent varnish. Brown main wraps with yellow edges. Chrome snake guides and tip tops. The ferrule fits are tight and the overall rod is straight.

comes in an original P&M rod bag and replacement aluminum tube

made for a 4 weight line

The 1 tip on this rod is 1" short
